There are no assembly lines here. Founder Stuart Hay personally ensures that every bevel, grind, and handle contour meets a standard of uncompromising excellence.

Heirloom Durability

We don’t build for the shelf; we build for the field. Engineered with premium materials to outlast the task, the journey, and the generation.

SCOTTISH BLOOD. AFRICAN STEEL.

Turriff Knives exists at the intersection of history and paleontology. Founder Stuart Hay traces his lineage back to the Hay and Campbell clans of Scotland - warriors who held Delgatie Castle and survived the harsh Highland climate. Like the Highland Cattle that grace our logo, our knives are bred for severity.

But a Turriff knife is more than a tool; it is a vessel for history. Inspired by the concept of amber - fossilized resin that preserves the past - we created a proprietary handle material that blends the raw essence of Africa with modern technology. By stabilizing organic matter from African giants (Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo) with carbon fiber, we create a handle that is as durable as it is storied.

Named after the great rivers of Africa, like the Rufiji Delta, our blades are built with a specific purpose: to work. We reject the "sharpened pry-bar" mentality. Instead, we grind thinner, sharper spines for superior cutting ability, heat-treated to hold an edge through the toughest field dressing.

Turriff Knives are masterpieces. But they are masterpieces made to bleed, work, and endure.
